Within implementation of the Grant КАZ-Т-NCTP №3101 “Effective responses to drug-resistant tuberculosis in Kazakhstan” for 2023–2024, RSE on REU “National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (NSCP) is announcing a tender for the selection of the external consultants for the following positions:
1.External technical TB consultant in Kazakhstan; 
2.External technical consultant on TB drug management in Kazakhstan.

On November 24-25, 2022, a regional meeting was held in Istanbul (Turkey) to inform countries about the administrative and organizational priorities for the next distribution cycle and discuss ways to achieve the ambitious global targets for TB and HIV in the EECA region. The meetings brought together partners of the Global Fund in accordance with the strategic priorities of EECA. The Coordinator of the CCM Secretariat in Kazakhstan at this meeting spoke in the Country Dialogues session to share the experience of conducting Country Dialogues in the process of preparing new applications for Global Fund funding.

The Country Coordinating Committee for Work with International Organizations on HIV and Tuberculosis Issues (hereinafter referred to as the CCM) announces open elections to the Oversight Committee. To participate in the election process are invited specialists with expert knowledge and having the following skills (expert knowledge in one or more areas):
- management of HIV and tuberculosis programs,
- management of procurement and supply of goods and products for the HIV/Tuberculosis program,
- financial management,
- expert knowledge of a specific disease (HIV infection, Tuberculosis).
- a key person affected/living with socially significant diseases (HIV infection, Tuberculosis) or a representative of a key population group;
- absence of conflicts of interest (the Oversight Committee cannot include representatives of Principal Recipients, sub-recipients and third parties involved in the implementation of grants from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria).
The activities of the Supervisory Committee are carried out on a voluntary basis in accordance with the Terms of Reference (TOR).
The deadline for submitting documents is March 11, 2022.

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (hereinafter - the Global Fund) announced the allocation of additional funding for the fight against COVID19 within the COVID-19 Response Mechanism for the Republic of Kazakhstan in the amount of 899,757 USD to mitigate the consequences for HIV and tuberculosis patients. To obtain the amount, a Funding Request was developed based on the national COVID19 plan, Global Fund guidelines and WHO recommendations, approved by the CCM on August 7, 2020.

The Country Coordinating Committee on Work with International Organizations on HIV and Tuberculosis issues (hereinafter - the CCM) announces the start of development of the Funding Request of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021-2023 for HIV component to receive funding from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS , Tuberculosis and Malaria (hereinafter - GFATM).
Legal entities of any organizational and legal form (state, non-governmental organizations, international and public organizations) are invited to participate. Those who wish to participate in the development of a new funding request must submit their proposals within 10 working days from the date of the official publication of the announcement by e-mail: ryssaldy.demeuova@undp.org to the CCM Secretariat on development of the funding request.

The National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan re-advertises an open competition for non-governmental organizations for the procurement of “small grants” aimed at enhancing the role of the civil sector and involving in TB, DR TB, TB/HIV response, with a focus on vulnerable groups (homeless people, PLHIV, PWID, former prisoners, external and internal migrants, disadvantaged groups) as part of the implementation of the Global Fund project № KAZ-T-NCTP № 1844 (“Effective Responses to Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis in Kazakhstan” Program).

Requirements for applicants:
Non-governmental and non-profit organizations registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan with no financial debt are eligible to participate in this open competition. Preference is given to organizations possessing experience in implementing TB projects and that include people previously affected by tuberculosis and representatives of other vulnerable groups of the population on the staff.

The Country Coordinating Committee on Work with International Organizations on HIV and Tuberculosis issues (hereinafter - CCM) announces the CCM selection results among representatives of the non-government sector and key populations for the period 2019-2021, conducted from 01 October to 23 November 2018. 
Representatives of the following non-government constituencies actively involved in the HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis response in the Republic of Kazakhstan are invited to participate in the selection process:
1.Civil Society Organizations, namely NGOs, religious organizations, civil society associations, private and education organizations (5 seats);
2.People that are both living with and representing people living with HIV;
People affected by tuberculosis, and organizations/people representing people affected by tuberculosis;
People from and representing Key Populations.
(7 seats)
3.International non-government organizations (4 seats);
4.International organizations:
A)Bilateral partner organizations (2 seats)
B)Multilateral partner organizations (2 seats)

Selections of representatives of international non-governmental organizations and international bilateral or multilateral organizations providing technical support and implementing projects on HIV / AIDS and tuberculosis are carried out in accordance with the procedures developed by the constituency itself.
Selections were conducted in 5 communities: 4 groups carried out independently, and the remaining groups according to the Terms of Reference:
1) The MSM community selected its own candidate and alternate within the community according to its own MSM rules without participation, overseeing and coordination of the Organizing Committee and the Mandate Commission, according to the community rules;
2) The PLHIV community held their own selections also without the participation, overseeing and coordination of the Organizing Committee and the Mandate Commission, in accordance with the rules;
3) Selections of representatives of international non-governmental organizations were conducted independently, without participation, overseeing and coordination of the Organizing Committee and the Mandate Commission, according to the community rules;
4) Selections of international bilateral or multilateral organizations providing technical support and implementing projects on HIV / AIDS and tuberculosis were also conducted independently, without participation, overseeing and coordination of the Organizing Committee and the CCM Secretariat, according to the community rules;
5) Other key populations and national non-governmental organizations held selections by registering by email: ccmkz.ngoselection2018@gmail.com under the coordination of the Organizing Committee and the Mandate Commission, according to the Terms of Reference of NGO selections.

Representatives of international non-government organizations and international bilateral or multilateral partner organizations providing technical assistance and implementing projects on HIV / AIDS and tuberculosis are to be selected in accordance with procedures developed by the relevant constituency.

Within the framework of the Global Fund grant implementation (HIV component), the Republican Center on Prevention and Control of AIDS is announcing a competition for coachers to conduct trainings for outreach workers working with persons who inject drugs and sex workers in Astana (July-August 2018) and Karaganda (August 2018).
Requirements for candidates:
  1. Experience in conducting trainings for key populations;
  2. Relevant certificates;
  3. Work experience with outreach workers.
Preference is given to a certified trainer.

Individuals (affected by socially significant diseases, living with HIV / AIDS and tuberculosis, most at risk) and legal entities of any organizational and legal form (state, non-governmental organizations, international and public organizations) are invited to participate.

The directions recommended for inclusion in the Concept Note:

  3. Strengthening partnerships with the civil sector for effective DR-TB control.

Project HOPE, as a main recipient of the grant awarded by the Global Fund for AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for the period of 2015 to 2017 for the project “Measures Aimed at Cross-Border Control and Treatment of Tuberculosis, AIDS and Multi-Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis among Labor Migrants” does hereby announce the competition for small grants to nongovernmental organizations. Within the framework of the above project scope statement, the Project HOPE is planning to give the grant for establishing the effective interactions among civil society / public organizations (NGOs), the Tuberculosis Service Center and primary health care centers of Taraz city to increase the access for the target group to diagnosis and proper treatment of tuberculosis, and to combat the stigma attached to migrants. 
The project period will be 1 year with possible prolongation thereof for the next periods. The project will commence not later than 1st December 2016.   
Requirements for Applicants 
The grant recipients may include civil society /public organizations registered in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and carrying out their activities within the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Preference will be given to the organizations having the experience in implementation of Tuberculosis Projects and other health care programs with practices in involvement of risk groups. 
Deadline for Submission of Applications: 12:00 on 10 November 2016.

Project HOPE conducts the small grant completion, as the principal recipient of the grant from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for 2015-2017 years under the objective: "Measures aimed at cross-border control and treatment of TB, MDR-TB and TB / HIV among migrant workers for non-governmental organizations to create and develop a supportive environment for external and internal migrant workers.
Number of Sub-Recipients: one or two for conducting activities in two priority regions 
The first region covers: Taldykorgan Town, Koksu, Eskeldi, Kerbulak and Panfilov Districts 
The second region covers: Zhambyl, Ili, Karasai, Talgar and Enbekshikazakh Districts 
It is allowed to expand the activities to other districts in addition to the indicated above territories within the given budget 
Requirements for applicants: Grant recipients may be public organizations, registered under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and functioning on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Priority is given to organizations that have experience in implementing projects on tuberculosis and other programs in the field of healthcare.
